What To Do! with Terri Kern, Clinical Counselor is a coaching program I created for people who are struggling to feel peaceful and calm. We focus on 4 things: Focus, Tolerance, Acceptance, and Ownership.

This subscription is built around 8 core things humans actually need to grow and stick with change:

1) Accountability

You don’t just “learn” emotional regulation, you practice it. You’ll get weekly structure, prompts, and challenges that help you follow through and build skills that hold up in real life.

2) Guidance

When you’re activated, you need clarity. I teach simple, evidence-informed tools (CBT/DBT + nervous system regulation) in plain language and show you what to do next—step by step.

3) Collective Impact/Output

We’re building something bigger than individual progress: a shared library of tools, scripts, and practices that helps more people regulate, communicate, and live with less fear and reactivity. The more of us practicing, the more this spreads.

4) Skill Development

This is a skill gym. Each week adds a tool you can use immediately—at work, at home, in relationships, in your own head—so emotional regulation becomes something you do, not something you wish you had.

5) Fandom

If you love answering the “why am I like this?” questions and seeing patterns click into place, you’ll fit right in. We get to nerd out on nervous system skills, emotional patterns, and the small wins that change everything.

6) Emotional Support

You’re not alone. You’ll have a steady space to name what’s happening, get support, and build resilience without shame, without judgment, and without needing to be “fine.”

7) Inspiration

You’ll get fresh ideas, practical reframes, and real-life examples that help you keep going, especially when motivation is low or life is heavy.

8) Fun

Growth sticks when it’s doable. Challenges, prompts, community wins, and a coaching tone that keeps things real so you can keep showing up.


The bigger point

Here’s what I believe: if enough people spent just $15 a month building emotional regulation skills, the world would be a better place. Fewer blowups. Fewer shame spirals. Better parenting. Better relationships. Better workplaces. More steady, grounded humans.

And I’m also going to be direct: helping people improve their mental health is hard work. Creating high-quality tools, writing and recording coaching content, building a community, running live sessions, and keeping it evidence-informed takes real time and expertise. That’s why I don’t offer paid programs for less than $15/month—because I’m not selling fluff.
